Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • To review the structural and architectural IFC drawings and prepare detailed engineering drawings for ventilated façade systems.
  • Preparation of 3D BIM Model and quantity take-off, clash detection and create families.
  • To Provide 2D / 3D drafting in delivering Shop Drawing packages for ventilated façade systems (Stone, GRC, GRP, ACP, CW) and preparing material schedules.
  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical proposals.
  • Ensuring final designs are compliant with structural verifications.
  • Preparation of design/shop drawings for new projects based on approved concept drawings and in accordance with Approved Construction / Architectural drawings / Specifications.
  • Preparation of Materials Take-Off, production releases, and cutting lists for fabrication.
  • Assisting in the delivery of detailed facade tender packages.
  • Preparation of “As-built” drawings for final submission.
  • Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  • Coordination with factory and site team as necessary.
  • Verifying the site set out, level, and survey the site before releasing the fabrication drawings.
  • coordinating with the site engineer to provide necessary technical drawings for the site execution
  • Using company procedures in a positive and proactive manner to achieve the correct result for the projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in steel and facade detailing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and MS Office, with working knowledge of Revit and SketchUp considered an advantage. The candidate must have a solid understanding of fabrication drawings, structural connections, and facade systems, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
