Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications, using CAD software.
  • Develop and modify 2D and 3D models from sketches, existing drawings, and specifications, translating concepts into visual representations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and incorporate their feedback into designs, fostering effective communication.
  • Prepare and revise engineering documents and drawings, including blueprints, schematics, and layouts, meticulously documenting changes.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to project teams, facilitating seamless coordination and problem-solving.
  • Manage and maintain drawing archives and databases, ensuring organized storage and easy retrieval of project documentation.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and design proposals to understand project requirements, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Perform calculations and measurements to verify design accuracy, ensuring dimensional correctness and minimizing errors.
  • Adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring designs comply with relevant requirements and promote safety.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and verify designs, ensuring designs align with field conditions and project scope.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Diploma or Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, providing a foundational understanding of technical drawing principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks), demonstrating the ability to create and modify technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and specifications, enabling accurate interpretation and application.
  • Proven experience in the relevant industry (e.g., architecture, engineering, construction), providing practical knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the production of precise and error-free drawings and plans.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman, showcasing practical application and a solid track record of successful projects.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless interaction with engineers, architects, and project teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
