Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and layouts for steel and metal fabrications, parking facilities, equipment installations, traffic flow plans, and related infrastructure Key Responsibilities: Prepare 2D/3D drawings, site layouts, and parking plans using AutoCAD or similar drafting software. Develop detailed drawings for metal and steel fabrication, parking systems, traffic signage, barrier placements, and equipment installations. Convert conceptual designs and measurements into precise technical drawings. Revise and update drawings based on site conditions, project requirements, or client feedback. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather information and clarify design details. Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and as-built documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements: Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in steel and metal fabrication, infrastructure, or construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit/SketchUp is a plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and team collaboration skills.
