Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience managing jack-up rig operations offshore Abu Dhabi
  • Good communication with rig contractors and Rig Managers for daily operations
  • Strong technical knowledge of jack-up rig equipment and hands-on experience in operations and troubleshooting

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • At least 20 years of experience in MODU drilling operations, including coiled tubing
  • Experience working in high H2S environments
  • Experience in incident investigation

Skills & Certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • OPITO-approved BOSIET and H2S certifications
  • IWCF Well Control or IQDC Well Cap certification
  • Emergency Response System training
  • Strong decision-making and priority-setting skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage jack-up rig operations offshore Abu Dhabi
  • Communicate daily with rig contractors and Rig Managers
  • Troubleshoot and maintain rig equipment
  • Ensure safety and HSE compliance
  • Lead incident investigations and implement solutions
  • Guide and support the operations team
