Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure the safe and timely delivery to designated locations, adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and address any mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules to optimize route efficiency and accountability.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any potential issues promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or transportation is a plus.
Valid heavy vehicle driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in heavy-duty driving.
Familiarity with GPS systems and mapping software to navigate efficiently and effectively.
