Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles like buses on public roads, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Load and unload materials efficiently, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injury and ensure safety on site.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance as per company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy vehicle operation is a plus.
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for heavy vehicle operation and a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles, preferably in construction or freight transport industries.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and basic troubleshooting skills to address minor repairs.
