Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods or passengers to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage route planning using GPS and navigational tools to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and protected from damage during transportation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school or equivalent educational qualification, demonstrating foundational knowledge and reliability.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, showcasing responsibility and adherence to traffic regulations.
Minimum of year of commercial driving experience, particularly in logistics or passenger transport, indicating a proven track record.
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, allowing for quick resolutions to minor mechanical issues on the road.
