Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a driven Dry Utilities Engineer to join our team - Architect background to help our design coordination/project management and AOR activities.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of experience in dry utilities design.Knowledge of Dubai and Abu Dhabi authority standards and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (for utilities corridors), and electrical design software (Dialux, ETAP, or equivalent).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.Experience with international consultants/contractors in the UAE.Previous approvals from DEWA, RTA, ADDC, TRANSCO, ITCBusiness DevelopmentStarting to develop network of contacts.Be an ambassador for the Company.Project RoleSupport the design and development of dry utilities networks (power HV/LV, street lighting, telecom, and ITS).Prepare and review engineering drawings, load calculations, technical reports, and specifications.Perform and oversee clash detection and corridor coordination with wet utilities, roads, and structural elements.Develop and review tie-in connection designs with existing networks and coordinate approvals with relevant authorities.Coordinate with UAE authorities such as DEWA, DM, RTA (Dubai) and ADDC, TRANSCO, ITC, ADM (Abu Dhabi) for NOCs and design approvals.Ensure designs comply with authority regulations, HSE standards, and project timelines.Company RoleContribute to the development of the company systems by reviewing existing procedures and commenting using the feedback system.Take part in task groups and represent team that you are working in.Attend team meetings and provide feedback on your/company development.
