Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

A Ductman Technician is responsible for the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of HVAC ducting systems according to project drawings and specifications. The role requires experience in duct installation, insulation, and ensuring proper air distribution systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC ductwork such as GI ducts, PI ducts, spiral ducts, and flexible ducts.

  • Read and interpret HVAC drawings and layout plans.

  • Measure, cut, and assemble duct sections according to specifications.

  • Install duct supports, hangers, and brackets.

  • Perform duct insulation and sealing to prevent air leakage.

  • Assist in testing and balancing of air distribution systems.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

  • Follow safety procedures and site regulations at all times.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians during installation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in HVAC duct installation.

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and ducting materials.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.

  • Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and construction site practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC/ Mechanical or Sheet Metal Field.
