Read Drawing
Fabrication
Material Preparation
Cutting and Shaping
Assembly and Sealing
Installation
Site Preparation
Mounting Supports
System Assembly: Connecting the fabricated duct sections and integrating them with other HVAC equipment, such as air handling units, dampers, and diffusers.
Insulation and Cladding: Applying insulation and acoustic lining to the installed ductwork to improve energy efficiency and prevent air leaks.
Testing and Maintenance: Assisting in air leakage testing and troubleshooting the system to ensure proper airflow and functionality, performing adjustments or repairs as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in using a range of hand and power tools.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
- A solid understanding of HVAC airflow principles and industry standards, such as those set by SMACNA.
- Adherence to strict site safety regulations and procedures.
