Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute durability and reliability test plans for systems and vehicle.
- Responsible for System Technical Specification development for SSD (Strength, Stiffness, Durability) Attributes
- Perform root cause analysis on failures using structured methodologies
- Define system and vehicle durability requirements and validation criteria based on customer usage, industry standards, and internal benchmarks.
- Perform chassis and powertrain system durability tests along with testing partner
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to recommend design improvements and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documenting test results, insights, and recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce warranty issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal engineering guidelines.
- Develop, Lead and align on Test Standards and Procedures for all Systems and Vehicle
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or automotive Engineering
- 8+ years if experience in Automotive Product Development in the area of Durability
- Strong understanding of fatigue, material behaviour, and structural analysis
- Experience in Durability Test planning, target setting for SSD attributes
- Experience in handling chassis and powertrain system durability tests
- Strong analytical, statistical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in automotive electric vehicle durability testing.
- Understanding of Durability CAE reports and data
