Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance of structural metal fixtures of buildings as per the scheduled maintenance program and preventive maintenance program.

Carry out painting maintenance requests when the painter is day off or on vacation.

Assist the engineering or landscape departments with handiwork around the hotel as required.

Respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public areas in a timely manner.

Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.

Respond to work request or room inspection reports submitted by other departments.

Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.

Maintain working area and makes sure that all working areas remain clean at all times.

Use personal safety wares for personal safety while on duty.

Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation.

My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.

Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Desired Candidate Profile

To execute the position of Duty Engineer, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following;

Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years working experience in a similar setting.

Technical skills include the ability to analyze and design minor projects.

Basic mechanical skills are mandatory.

Fluent in English language.
