Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the entire dyeing process, ensuring consistent color accuracy, fabric quality, and production efficiency.
  • Manage and troubleshoot dyeing machinery and equipment, including reactive dyeing machines, jet dyeing machines, and exhaust dyeing machines to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement dyeing recipes and color matching formulas, considering fabric type, dye classes, and desired shades to achieve the required color fastness.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks at each stage of the dyeing process, including color assessment, shade matching, and fabric inspection, to identify and rectify any defects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Textile Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in textile dyeing, with a focus on reactive dyeing and/or other relevant dyeing techniques.
  • Proven experience in color matching and recipe formulation, demonstrating a strong understanding of color theory and dye chemistry.
  • In-depth knowledge of different dye classes (reactive, disperse, etc.) and their application on various fabric types (cotton, polyester, etc.).
