Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inspect heavy earthmoving equipment (excavators, bulldozers, graders, wheel loaders, dump trucks) for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and diagnostics for equipment failures, and provide technical recommendations.
  • Perform functional and operational testing before and after repairs to validate equipment performance.
  • Ensure all workshop repairs align with OEM guidelines and industry quality standards.
  • Document detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to workshop technicians and mechanics.
  • Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules based on inspection results.
  • Verify spare parts and components for authenticity and compliance with OEM specifications.
  • Uphold compliance with company safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in inspecting heavy earthmoving equipment within a workshop or service center.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnostics: Proficient in using diagnostic tools and fault detection software.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in inspections, analysis, and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying faults and recommending timely, cost-effective solutions.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety practices and compliance standards.
