Job Description:

We are currently looking for a seasoned Editor to lead the editorial team and drive the content strategy of one of our core B2B brands, ITP.NET. As the Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's voice, overseeing content creation, and ensuring the delivery of timely and relevant industry insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers, reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content for digital and print platforms.
  • Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience.
  • Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorial standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage.
  • Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brand's website, social media channels, and print publications.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in using editorial software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices.
  • Paywall experience.
  • Project budget management skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.
