Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical drawings for power and utility projects.

  • Draft Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Schematics, Cable Routing Drawings, Earthing Layouts, Lighting Layouts, and Electrical Equipment Layouts.

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings.

  • Coordinate drawings with Electrical Engineers, BIM Engineers, Civil Engineers, and Project Teams.

  • Update drawings based on engineer comments and client requirements.

  • Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures.

  • Assist in preparing tender drawings and construction drawings.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and international standards.

  • Support the design team in substation, power plant, solar PV, and utility infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Drafting Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.

  • Experience in electrical infrastructure, substations, power plants, or utility projects is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical drawings and engineering documentation.

Software Requirements

  • AutoCAD (Mandatory)

  • Revit (Preferred)

  • Navisworks (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience

  • 11kV, 33kV, 132kV, or 220kV Substations.

  • Solar PV Power Plants.

  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

  • Utility Infrastructure Projects.

  • Power Distribution Networks.
