Responsibilities

• Delivery of electrical drawings as per project requirements mainly, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Termination Drawings and General Arrangement Drawings (GA).
• Ensure timely completion of all allocated projects.
• Preparation and updating Cable Lists throughout project
• Preparation of Red-Line markups after installations
• Create concept Single Line Diagrams for new scopes to be clarified with clients
• Preparation of Bill of Material lists (BOM s) for tender evaluations and checking to ensure scope is in accordance with drawings produced and vice versa.
• Ensure all relevant standards are followed
• Assist in updating databases, standards, and drawing tools.
• Review rough sketches, drawings, and other data to ensure that they comply with design concepts.
• Receive and register documents
• Control the issuance of document numbers, including maintenance of proper document registers
• Ensure proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving
• Review completeness of documentation and prepare document transmittals
• Willingness to learn PLC ladder logic programming Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master of Electrical Engineer
• Minimum of 3 or 5 years of experience as an electrical designer
• AutoCAD 2D
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Engineering and common / best practices.
• Understanding of IEC standards
• Understanding of hazardous areas on Drilling Rigs
