Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare electrical shop drawings (power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm) for interior fit-out projects. Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and civil teams to produce clash-free designs. Review and interpret design drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with local authorities (DEWA, SEWA) and industry standards. Revise and update drawings based on site changes and consultant feedback. Maintain organized drawing records and documentation. Support project execution by providing technical inputs and clarification. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for drawing approvals and submissions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Draftsman in the interior fit-out industry. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (experience with Revit is a plus). Familiar with DEWA, SEWA, and local authority standards. Strong understanding of MEP drawings and architectural coordination. Excellent attention to detail and drafting precision. Able to handle fast-paced environments and strict deadlines.
