Electrical Engineer AL RAIDA ELECTROMECHANICAL SERVICES LLC

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Electrical / MEP Engineer with at least 2 years of GCC experience in the MEP contracting industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, with proven experience in site execution, coordination, authority approvals, and project documentation for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical and MEP works at site as per approved drawings and specifications.

• Prepare and review shop drawings, load schedules, single line diagrams, and coordination layouts.

• Coordinate with DEWA, Dubai Municipality (DM), DCD, and other authorities for design approvals and site inspections.

• Conduct material submittals, method statements, and ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.

• Manage and monitor the installation of MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, lighting, small power, containment systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing, and drainage systems.

• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and assist in procurement and cost control.

• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.

• Prepare WIRs (Work Inspection Requests), MIRs (Material Inspection Requests) and attend site inspections with consultants.

• Ensure all MEP works are executed safely, efficiently, and within project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of GCC experience in MEP contracting companies.

• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, authority regulations (DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.), and technical standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical/mechanical design software.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

• Ability to handle multiple site activities and work independently with minimal supervision.
