Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and design documents.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with the architectural and structural design.
- Conduct load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements from contractors.
- Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Identify and resolve design and construction issues related to MEP works.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates for management and clients.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize system performance and reduce costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in MEP design and/or site supervision.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of international building codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, etc.).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
