Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee Overhead Transmission Line Tower Erection and Stringing Works.
  • Interpret and implement erection drawings, spacer & damper charts.
  • Prepare and review tower schedules, conductor & OPGW drum schedules, and line material calculations insulators, fittings, etc.
  • Coordinate with planning teams to prepare execution plans and method statements for quality and safe project delivery.
  • Schedule construction activities, assign resources & durations, and define productivity paths.
  • Monitor and control project execution as per the proposed schedule/plan.
  • Attend periodic meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to discuss work progress.
  • Resolve technical clarifications and design issues at site with consultants and clients.
  • Prepare daily progress reports, look-ahead schedules, monthly progress bills, and statements.
  • Report NCRs, site notes, and HSE issues to the Project Manager.
  • Monitor store transactions to ensure proper material handling.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education/Certification: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Visa: Engineer category visa (General Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer Technician).
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in transmission line projects (with high-voltage OHL exposure).
  • UAE Experience: At least 4 years in UAE (preferred).
  • Competency: Must hold TAQA Transmission Electrical Competency approval.
  • Valid experience certificates
