Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical installations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards, while coordinating with other trades on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques to enhance team performance.
- Manage project timelines and schedules, ensuring that electrical work is completed on time and within budget, while adjusting plans as needed to accommodate changes.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project estimates and budgets, helping to secure necessary resources and materials for successful project completion.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical theory and practices.
- Certifications such as Journeyman Electrician, OSHA safety certification, or equivalent, showcasing commitment to professional development and safety standards.
- Proven experience working in commercial or industrial electrical settings, with specific knowledge of electrical codes and regulations relevant to the industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse group of electricians to achieve project goals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to analyze and resolve complex electrical issues effectively.
