Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using testing devices.
• Oversee the installation of electrical equipment, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on project planning and execution.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and staff members.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports and documentation for electrical systems.
• Ensure the timely completion of electrical maintenance and repair projects.
• Manage inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and adequacy.
• Evaluate electrical systems and recommend upgrades or overhauls as needed.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair tasks on electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Assist in the development and implementation of electrical maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, with leadership experience preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical and safety regulations and standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose electrical failure causes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective teamwork.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician program a plus.
• Valid electrician s license or certification as required by the state or locality.
