The Electrical Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that electrical systems and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely. This position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing or replacing parts to optimize performance and minimize downtime. The technician will be responsible for working on a variety of electrical systems, including but not limited to, motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and electrical panels in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment to ensure functionality.
• Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, manuals, and testing devices to identify faults.
• Repair or replace defective wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to assist in system upgrades and improvements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company regulations to minimize hazards and ensure safety.
• Maintain records and documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance history.
• Troubleshoot system failures or malfunctions and perform necessary corrective actions promptly.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule and expedite preventative maintenance activities.
• Monitor maintenance tools, parts, and supplies to ensure availability and proper inventory levels.
• Stay updated on the latest electrical maintenance technologies and industry best practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for diagnosing issues effectively.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations within the electrical industry.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
