An Electrical Site Engineer plays a pivotal role in construction and development projects, working on site to ensure that electrical systems are installed accurately and efficiently. This role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring that all electrical activities align with the designs, plans, and standards set forth for the project. The Electrical Site Engineer is the liaison between the project management team and the crews working on site, responsible for troubleshooting issues, streamlining processes, and maintaining a high level of safety and quality control. As part of this position, the engineer must display effective communication skills, the ability to read and interpret complex design plans, and a thorough understanding of electrical codes and regulations.

• Supervise and oversee the installation of electrical systems and devices on site.
• Interpret design plans and communicate instructions to the construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and safety standards on site.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and construction managers as needed.
• Review project plans and specifications and adapt as necessary to meet project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including progress reports and logs.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues that arise during project execution.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating cost estimates and budgets for electrical works.
• Ensure all tools and materials are used efficiently and without unnecessary waste.
• Report any delays or deviations from the project timeline to project management.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate efforts across multiple teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in electrical engineering within construction.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of national and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
• Demonstrable ability to oversee projects and solve complex on-site problems.
• Experience with project management software and electrical design tools.
