As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the electrical aspects of construction projects from start to finish. Your expertise in electrical engineering ensures that all electrical systems installed comply with safety standards and project specifications. You will coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall building structure. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any on-site electrical issues and facilitating smooth project execution with minimal downtime. Your ability to translate designs into actionable site activities will be instrumental in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on-site, ensuring adherence to plans.
• Review electrical designs and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineers for seamless project integration and execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of electrical work performed.
• Identify and resolve any electrical engineering issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Prepare detailed reports on site progress, material usage, and personnel performance.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations to protect both workforce and infrastructure.
• Manage procurement of electrical components and coordinate their timely delivery to the site.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers, for effective project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and site staff as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date records of electrical installations and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet project timelines and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical engineering within the construction sector.
• Proficient understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and common installation practices.
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering software like AutoCAD and similar tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
• Effective communication skills to facilitate coordination and collaboration on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
