Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintenance:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in the plant workshop, following stringent safety guidelines and industry standards.
  • Conduct proactive inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold the optimal performance of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in various plant equipment, including control panels, motors, and sensors.
  • Utilize advanced testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and address electrical issues promptly.

Safety Compliance:

  • Actively enforce and promote safety protocols and procedures within the workshop, fostering a culture of safety.
  • Regularly conduct safety inspections and actively participate in safety meetings.

Documentation:

  • Maintain meticulous records of all electrical maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment documentation.

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other maintenance professionals, including mechanical technicians and engineers, to optimize the performance of plant equipment.
  • Provide valuable technical support to other departments, addressing electrical-related concerns with precision.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a plant or industrial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components, with a focus on plant equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
