Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and components according to safety regulations and codes.
• Perform regular maintenance to prevent system failures and ensure reliability.
• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems and systematically identify defects and solutions.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand or power tools.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for safety compliance.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specifications and local codes.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring as needed.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers for new installations or remodeling projects.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to electrical systems and completed tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to understand layout instructions.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure long, safe life and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry practices and innovations in electrical systems and components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is preferred.
• Valid electrician s license or certification according to local regulations.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in residential or commercial settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical and building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and safety.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and clients.
