Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems throughout the hotel
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to reduce operational impact
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with UAE regulations and hotel standards
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on lighting, wiring, breakers, and electrical components
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and housekeeping teams for issue resolution
  • Respond quickly to emergency electrical concerns to ensure guest safety
  • Maintain detailed documentation of electrical work, inspections, and compliance tasks
  • Assist with installation and testing of new electrical systems during upgrades or renovations
  • Support energy conservation initiatives and recommend efficiency improvements
  • Ensure proper functioning of critical safety systems including emergency lights, fire alarms, and security systems

Desired Candidate Profile

High school diploma; technical diploma or certification preferred

Licensed electrician per local regulatory requirements

Proven electrical maintenance experience in hotels or commercial facilities

Strong understanding of hotel electrical systems, HVAC controls, alarms, and security systems

Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Good troubleshooting skills and knowledge of safety procedures

Flexible availability including nights or weekends as required

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physically able to handle tools, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
