• Responsible and accountable for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. • Responsible and accountable for diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • Assess the parts needed for a job, place orders for those parts and ensure quality products are used • Responsible and accountable for conducting routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards, • Responsible and accountable for rewiring harness cables, faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and fix the respective fault codes • Ensures good quality workmanship which upholds company standards and complies with safety requirements • Works alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction • Responsible for maintaining records and files, preparing timeous reports • Provides exceptional customer service and answers any customer questions • Provides professional assessments and advice for superiors
