Responsibilities

• Read technical diagrams and blueprints to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Comply with state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
• Train and oversee apprentices or junior electricians to maintain high safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while explaining complex issues to clients clearly.
• Upgrade electrical systems ensuring compliance with current government regulations.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals for optimized workflow and task coordination.
• Conduct testing and maintenance of electrical components to ensure longevity and reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or technical training preferred.
• Valid certification or license as required by your state's regulations.
• Proven electrical experience, ideally in both residential and commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and state and local regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effortlessly.
• Willingness to keep updated with electrical technologies and continuous learning initiatives.
