Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local codes.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to accurately execute electrical installations.
  • Service and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and lighting systems, to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of electrical work in construction projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and preventive measures on electrical systems to enhance reliability.
  • Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and best practices to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Document all work performed, including repairs and modifications, to maintain a detailed service history.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in training and mentoring apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop future electricians.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical technology is a plus.

  • Possession of a valid electrician license or certification, demonstrating competency and adherence to industry standards.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
