Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-installation site assessments to identify structural challenges and determine optimal installation strategies.
- Collaborate with architects and construction teams to integrate elevator systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Perform rigorous testing and troubleshooting on elevator systems, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in elevator installation or a related area is highly preferred.
- Valid elevator mechanic license or certification, demonstrating adherence to local and national safety codes.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation or maintenance, showcasing advanced technical skills.
