Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed ELV drawings (shop drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, SVG drawing & submission and as-built drawings) for systems such as: CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, Home automation systems, BMS, Audio Visual, SMATV/IPTV, Other low-current/ELV systems as per project scope.
  • Review design drawings and specifications to extract required information for drafting.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, site engineers, and project teams to incorporate changes and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations, codes, and standards (SIRA / ADMCC).
  • Maintain drawing registers, version control, and documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTOs) and quantity estimations from drawings when required.
  • Support tender documentation and submission packages with necessary design/drawing inputs.
  • Update and maintain as-built records throughout project progress.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a draftsman, preferably in ELV systems.
  • Should be SIRA Certified.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting essential; 3D/BIM knowledge is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of ELV systems, layouts, and wiring schematics.
  • Familiarity with local codes (e.g., Security & Telecom Authority) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Hands on experience with Hospitality & High-Rise Building projects
