Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist care in fetal medicine and prenatal diagnosis, including high-risk pregnancy management
• Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging and diagnostic procedures, including:br>
  • Detailed anomaly scans
  • Fetal growth and Doppler studies
  • First- and second-trimester screening
  • Invasive prenatal procedures (e.g., amniocentesis, CVS), where credentialed
• Counsel patients and families regarding fetal conditions, genetic findings, and management options with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate closely with obstetrics, neonatology, embryology, genetics, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for complex fetal conditions
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and protocol development
• Supervise and support junior medical staff, fellows, and sonographers as required
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards
• Stay current with advancements in fetal medicine through continuing medical education and research activities
