Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess and triage patients to prioritize care based on severity of conditions, ensuring high-risk cases are addressed first.
- Administer emergency medications and treatments according to protocols while monitoring patient responses for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and paramedics, to develop and implement effective emergency care plans.
- Perform life-saving procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and CPR, demonstrating proficiency in advanced emergency techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Current nursing license in the relevant jurisdiction, with a preference for candidates holding additional certifications in emergency care.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced emergency department or critical care environment.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is highly desirable.
