Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee electrical system design, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and client requirements for EPC projects.
  • Manage the electrical scope of work, including vendor coordination, material procurement, and site installation, for timely project delivery.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical submittals, maintaining quality and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring safe and efficient installations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets for electrical components, tracking progress and managing costs effectively.
  • Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize electrical hazards and ensure safety compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems, providing solutions and recommendations to maintain project momentum.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, codes, and regulations, integrating them into project designs and installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within EPC construction projects is required.
  • Demonstrates strong experience in EPC projects, with a focus on power generation, transmission, or distribution projects.
  • Proficient in using electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
  • Exhibits a solid understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to make sound engineering judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
