Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct engineering studies on cables & accessories.

  • Prepare cable system scope of work for tenders; support bidder clarifications.

  • Review design drawings, BIM models, vendor documents; finalize non-compliance notes.

  • Attend factory inspections; document findings and review compliance statements.

  • Participate in design, technical, and progress meetings.

  • Liaise with departments to resolve technical issues.

  • Raise change requests to update future turnkey project specifications.

  • Support product conformity & qualification assessment.

  • Assist in failure investigations.

  • Conduct site audits and participate in site inspections of failed equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong problem-solving & cable system knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of IEEE, IEC, BS standards
  • Proficient in technical report writing
