-Provide primary support for UNIX/LINUX Server OS
-Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UNIX servers.
-Able to troubleshoot common network protocols TCP/IP, SSH, HTTP, SFTP, DNS, SMTP
-Knowledge of UNIX server technologies such as HA Clustering
-Perform systems changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
-Manage Systems incident handling and problem management, ensure incidents are resolved within SLA, and participate in incident review and preparing RCA (root cause analysis) report.
-Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
-Monitor and adhere to the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
-Ensure service levels meet requirement. Propose and implement action plans when required.
-Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities (e.g. patching, upgrade)
-Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
-Be able to effectively operate within set guidelines, policies and procedures, and able to execute instructions with minimal supervision
-Provide supporting documentation, reports and other information to management (e.g. system utilization reports)
-Provide support for system technologies such as virtualization and middleware

Experience and Skill Requirements
-Experience - Minimum 4 years of related experience in UNIX/LINUX administration
-Technical / Professional - Skills in UNIX/LINUX server administration, IBM AIX and Oracle Solaris OS certification/training preferred, RHEL/Oracle Solaris OS Certification or Training will be a plus
-Non-Technical / Soft Skills - Good team player and team lead as well
