Roles & Responsibilities
Working as an Engineering Supervisor, you will ensure all team members are trained and maintaining Holiday Inn s brand service style and behavior; you will oversee the day-to-day team tasks and report directly Chief Engineer. You ll have ambition, talent, and some essential skills. We re seeking someone passionate about creating great guest experiences for this vital role.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Supervise engineering technicians and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repair works across the property.
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and building regulations.
- Support the Chief Engineer in managing budgets, inventories, and energy-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide timely engineering support.
Monitor guest feedback related to engineering issues and ensure swift resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideally, you ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we re looking for:
- Prior experience in hotel engineering or maintenance.
- Preferably with IHG brand experience.
- Currently based in the UAE with strong technical knowledge.
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and preventive maintenance systems.
