Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide engineering technicians in daily maintenance activities.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and service tasks across the hotel.
- Ensure compliance with fire, health, safety, and building regulations.
- Monitor energy use and assist in implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Support the Chief Engineer in managing budgets, inventories, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide engineering support for guest satisfaction.
- Respond to and resolve guest-related engineering issues promptly.
Skills Set
- Preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of fire, health, and safety protocols.
- Leadership and team supervision.
- Budgeting and inventory control.
- Communication and coordination skills.

Desired Candidate Profile
Prior experience in hotel engineering, maintenance, or facilities management.
Knowledge of safety systems, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team.
Preferably with IHG brand or UAE hospitality industry experience.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
