Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory analyses of environmental samples (water, soil, air) using advanced instrumentation like GC-MS and ICP-MS to determine the presence and concentration of pollutants.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure data accuracy, precision, and reliability in environmental monitoring projects.
  • Interpret complex analytical data, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting environmental impacts.
  • Design and execute environmental studies, including sampling strategies and experimental protocols, to assess the impact of industrial activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Master's or Doctoral degree in Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on environmental applications.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Certified Environmental Scientist (CES) or a similar credential, demonstrating professional competence.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in environmental chemistry, with a focus on analytical techniques and data interpretation.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of environmental regulations, including EPA guidelines and other relevant legislation.
