Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  1. Design, review, and oversee the implementation of pipeline systems while integrating sustainable engineering practices.Ensure that all pipeline construction and maintenance activities align with environmental standards.
  2. Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for pipeline projects.
    Identify potential environmental risks and develop effective mitigation plans to address them.
  3. Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
    Prepare and submit regulatory documentation and reports as required by local and international authorities.
  4. Integrate water resource management principles into project designs, including wastewater treatment solutions.
    Develop strategies to minimize water resource disruptions caused by pipeline projects.
  5. Manage environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  6. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and regulatory teams to optimize project outcomes.
  7. Promote sustainable development by recommending eco-friendly materials and processes in project designs.
    Monitor ongoing projects to minimize environmental footprints.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and overseeing projects.
  9. Ability to perform fieldwork, which may involve working in various environmental conditions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with pipeline design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Certified Environmental Engineer or other relevant certifications.
  • Understanding of water resources management, including wastewater treatment.
  • Ability to conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Previous experience in environmental engineering, particularly in pipeline projects.
  • Experience managing environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with environmental regulations during construction projects.
  • Certification and Training:Utilize relevant certifications, such as Certified Environmental Engineer credentials, to enhance project credibility.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on environmental best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Candidate should be willing to go to our Iraq site.
