Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and maintaining their overall well-being to ensure peak performance and health.
  • Execute daily training routines, tailored to each horse's discipline and skill level, fostering their athletic development and responsiveness.
  • Manage and maintain stable cleanliness, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for the horses, preventing the spread of diseases.
  • Identify and address any health concerns or injuries promptly, administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Assist with farrier and veterinary appointments, providing necessary support and ensuring the horses receive the best possible care.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a relevant degree or certification in equine studies or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation of knowledge.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of various equestrian disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, or eventing.
  • Exhibits fluency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with trainers, vets, and other staff.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in riding and handling horses of different temperaments and abilities, showcasing adaptability.
  • Possesses exceptional horsemanship skills, including grooming, tacking, and recognizing signs of illness or injury in horses.
