Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed cost estimation for projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documents to ensure accuracy in budgeting.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts that align with project requirements and budget constraints.
- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive database of materials and suppliers, ensuring timely updates to reflect market changes and availability.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement strategies with project timelines and objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is essential for technical proficiency.
Minimum of 5-12 years of relevant experience in estimation and procurement within MEP.
Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Procurement Professional (CPP) are highly advantageous.
Experience with project management software and estimation tools, demonstrating proficiency in digital workflows.
