Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys to evaluate security requirements, ensuring tailored solutions for varying client needs.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for security solutions including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, ensuring competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to ensure alignment between estimates and project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and documentation that effectively communicate the value of recommended security solutions.
  • Analyze bid documents and client specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities in project estimation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into estimates.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project scope, timelines, and budget constraints, ensuring transparency.
  • Review and validate vendor quotes to ensure they align with project requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project correspondence for future reference and audits.
  • Support the sales team with technical knowledge and expertise during client presentations and negotiations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Electronics, with a focus on security systems.
  • Certifications in security systems design or project management (e.g., PMP, CPP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in estimation or project engineering within the ELV security solutions sector.
  • Experience working with low-voltage systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, and access control technologies.
  • A strong understanding of local and international security standards and regulations is essential.
  • Proficient in estimation software and tools, with advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, enabling accurate and efficient estimation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
