Roles & Responsibilities
CANDIDATES SHOUD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR GLASS, ALUMINIUM, STAINLESS STEEL AND NONSTRUCTURAL METAL
FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION INDUSTRIES AS ESTIMATION ENGINEER
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THOROUGH EXPERIENCE IN STUDYING RESPECTIVE TENDER DOCUMENTS AND BOQ PAGES.
INCASE THE BOQ PAGES ARE NOT AVAILABLE THEN THE BOQ TO BE TAKEN FROM TENDER DRGS.AND PREPARE THE BOQ AND PREPARE THE TENDER /QUOTATION ACCORDINGLY.
SEND RFI/QUARRIES TO MAIN CONTRACTOR/CONSULTANT INCASE OF INSUFFIENT OR INACCURATE DOCCUMENTS AND
INFORMATION TO PROVIDE SUCH NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT THE TENDER/QUOTATION ACCORDINGLY.
SEND ENQUIRIES TO RELEVANT SUPPLIERS/VENDORS TO RECEIVE MOST COMPETITIVE QUOTES, COMPARE ALL THE QOTATIONS WITH RESPECT PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS, DRGS.,AND SITE CONDITIONS
Desired Candidate Profile
KNOWLEDGE OF SEQUENCES OF REPARTION OF SHOP DRGS, GETTING APPROVAL OF SHOP DRGS.PROCUREMENT OF MATERIALS, FABRICATION AND PRODUCTION OF DIFFERENT ITEMS REQUIRED FOR THE PROJECT AS PER APPROVED SHOP DRGS., CO-ORDINATION WITH ALL INTER DEPTS.SUCH AS ESTIMATION DEPT.,PURCHASE DEPT.,PROJECT DEPT., ETC FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION AND HANDING OVER OF THE PROJECT PREPAERATION OF AS BUILT DRGS. SUCH AS SHOWER PARTITION AND DOOR DRGS, SHOP FRONTS AND OFFICE PARTITION DRGS., HANDRAIL AND BALUSTRADE DRGS., OTHER CUSTOM FABRICATED GLASS, MIRROR AND NON STRUCTURAL METAL FABRICATION DRGS. ALUMINIUM WINDOWS AND DOOR DRGS, SKYLIGHTS, CURTAIN WALL DRGS., SECTIONAL DETAILS, SPOT DETAILS, PREFERABLE.
The candidate should be a degree/diploma holder in Mechanical/Civil Engineering & should have min.5- 10 years knowledge of reading and understanding the tender documents such as drawings, project specifications & BOQ's and must have adequate knowledge of production process in order to be able to estimate all kinds of architectural metal Fabrication works such as Aluminum steel, stainless steel, glass and mirror work etc.
