Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified Estimation Engineer with experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with a strong background in electrical systems, to join our team.


  • Prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Perform material take-offs and labor cost evaluations
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
  • Evaluate vendor quotations and subcontractor bids
  • Identify cost risks and propose value engineering solutions
  • Support project planning, cost control, and variation pricing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • Minimum 3years of experience as an Estimation Engineer
  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas projects (onshore/offshore preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical estimation (power, lighting, earthing, instrumentation is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes
  • Proficient in MS Excel, estimation software, and reading technical drawings
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with EPC contractors
  • Knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.)
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
