Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements

Must-have requirements

  • 5 to 7 years experience in estimation for Fire Alarm and/or Fire Fighting systems
  • Background in construction company / MEP contractor is strongly preferred (or fire systems company is acceptable)
  • Strong knowledge of suppliers and vendor market
  • Existing relationships with suppliers and ability to negotiate pricing and lead times
  • Proven ability to prepare:
  • BOQs / cost sheets
  • Material take-offs (MTO)
  • Quotations and proposals (including technical + commercial inputs)

Preferred background

  • Worked with a fire systems contractor or construction/MEP contractor handling fire protection scope
  • Familiar with common brands and market options (local UAE supplier landscape)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or relevant field) preferred
