Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Switchgear knowledge is the must LV Panels / Meter cabinets / VFD panels
- Having experience in low voltage switchgear manufacturing
- Should Have knowledge of SEWA / DEWA / FEWA rules before estimation
- Should have experience in quoting for Maintenace Contract / Annual Contract / Maintenance for DB / meter Cabinets & VFD Panels / LV PANELS
- Collaborate with project managers / Purchase / electrical team and engineers to identify potential changes of getting LPO
- Should have exiting relationship with clients and should be capable of quoting Customer for G+2 / G+ 3
G + 15 / G +20
- Utilize cost estimation software and keep follow up for quotation
- Load Schedule and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates and should be personal willing to win LPO
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline project scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Research and analyze market trends
- Capable of getting the right price of Material from existing and new suppliers.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to gain insights and clarify project requirements with clients and stakeholders.
- Continuously update and maintain a database of unit costs for various materials and labor to ensure precise estimations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation within switchgear Industry
- Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or equivalent are preferred.
- Nationalities with a background in countries with advanced construction practices are highly valued.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages like Spanish or Mandarin are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to ensure precision in cost calculations.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Timberline, Bluebeam, or similar tools is required.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to team members and clients.
- A detail-oriented mindset coupled with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
